Welcome to our lab new members!
We are very happy to welcome José J. León and María D. Linde to the Habit and Cognition Group!
José J. León joins the lab as a postdoctoral researcher with a Juan de la Cierva fellowship. His research focuses on the cognitive mechanisms underlying decision-making and habit formation. He combines computational approaches, including reinforcement learning models and Bayesian methods, to better understand individual differences in behavior across contexts.
María D. Linde joins our group as a PhD student within the national project Assessing the balance between goal-directed and habitual processing through the course of learning (GOAL-HABIT). Her research interests lie in cognitive control and learning processes, particularly in how experiences are represented and how they shape behavior over time. Her current work focuses on habit acquisition, individual learning trajectories, and the role of outcome value in habit formation.
We are excited to have them both on board!
